Boscastle Lookout Tower

Duration:  45 minutes

Effort: Medium

Go down to the harbour keeping to the left hand side, go carefully up the slate steps by the harbour wall, carefully climb up the slate rocks to get to the coastal path and quite simply keep going, you will see the look out tower to your left on the top of the cliffs, it is a small white square building manned by volunteers to watch over the coastline keeping us all safe. The views from the top can be breath taking on a clear day  with the possibility of being  able to see GCHQ (big white radio dishes) on the right beyond Bude and Tintagel Church, Camelot Castle Hotel to the left.

Tintagel church to Trebarwith strand

Duration: 2 .5 hours each way

Effort: Easy to medium

Firstly drive to Tintagel Church and park up, its free to stay but with not too many spaces, then simply head along the coastal path away from Tintagel.  You will enjoy some breath taking views, old slate mine  and much more on this fabulous walk.

Having arrived at Trebarwith depending on the tide you will be greeted with an expanse of open beach or not! There is a great Pub here 'The Port William' which does fabulous food and is a great place to chill and have a glass or two, alternatively there is a lovely little Cafe that serves some great snacks drinks and of course pasties.

Rocky valley

Duration: 1 hour

Effort: Easy

Take the B3263 out of Boscastle towards Tintagel, you will pass through the little village of Trevalga and then down a relatively steep bit in to a shady woody valley with a house on the left right on the bend , then as you climb back up there is a parking point / lay by on the left (unmarked), park here and then cross the road and follow the path down past Trevillet Mill.  As you follow the path down through this pretty liitle wood keep an eye out the Bronze Age stone carvings by the old buildings.  From there it meanders through fields before tumbling dramatically through rocky bluffs and deep clefts all the way to the open ocean in the bay near Bossiney.
